Privacy Policy

1. What BacklinkTitan Is

BacklinkTitan is a private desktop software application for Windows. All automation - browser automation, bot execution, AI content generation, campaign management - runs entirely on your local machine. BacklinkTitan does not operate a cloud service that processes your campaigns on its servers.

2. What Data We Collect

License Validation

To validate your license and prevent unauthorized use, BacklinkTitan sends the following information to our license validation service:

• Your license key
• A machine ID - a one-way SHA-256 hash of your network adapter's MAC address. This is a pseudonymous identifier that cannot be reversed to identify your specific device or person
• Your IP address (as part of the standard HTTPS request)

This data is used only to confirm that the license is valid and has not been shared across more machines than permitted. No campaign data, target URLs, content, or credentials are transmitted during license validation.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

BacklinkTitan sends anonymous usage statistics to help us understand how the software is being used and prioritize development. This includes:

• The count of campaigns (not their names, URLs, or content)
• Which feature areas are active (not what they're pointed at)
• The pseudonymous machine ID and approximate geographic region (country level, derived from IP)
• Software version number

No personally identifiable content - target URLs, article content, profile data, credentials, or campaign names - is included in analytics. Analytics can be disabled by contacting support.

3. What We Do Not Collect

BacklinkTitan does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Your target URLs or money sites
• AI-generated article content
• Profile data you enter (names, bios, usernames, email addresses)
• Login credentials for any platform your bots register on
• Your proxy configuration or proxy credentials
• Your XEvil API key or captcha solving credentials
• Your Google Service Account JSON keys
• Cloud provider credentials (AWS keys, Cloudflare API keys, etc.)
• Campaign names, campaign content, or backlink results

All configuration files are stored locally at %APPDATA%\BacklinkTitan\ on your Windows machine and are never read or uploaded by our systems.

4. Payment Data

BacklinkTitan does not process payments directly. All subscription payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card number, bank account information, or any financial data. Please review your payment processor's privacy policy for details on how payment data is handled.

5. Cookies and Website Tracking

The backlinktitan.net website uses minimal analytics to understand visitor traffic (page views, referrer sources, geographic region). Individual visitors are not tracked across sessions or identified personally. We do not use advertising trackers, Facebook Pixel, or Google Tag Manager on our website.

6. Third-Party Services

BacklinkTitan integrates with the following optional third-party services when you configure them:

• Built-in Local AI - Local AI inference engine running on your machine. No data leaves your machine.
• Google Search Console API - If you configure GSC integration, URL submission requests are sent directly to Google using your Service Account credentials. BacklinkTitan does not proxy or log these requests.
• Cloud providers (AWS, Cloudflare, etc.) - Upload requests go directly from your machine to the provider. BacklinkTitan does not see your uploaded content.
• XEvil - If you use XEvil for captcha solving, it runs locally on your machine or your self-hosted server. No captcha data passes through BacklinkTitan servers.

7. Data Retention

License validation logs are retained for up to 90 days for fraud prevention purposes and then deleted. Anonymous analytics data is retained in aggregated form indefinitely but individual session records are deleted after 12 months.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Request access to data we hold about you (machine ID, license key)
• Request deletion of your data (will result in license deactivation)
• Opt out of anonymous analytics collection

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of BacklinkTitan after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
